Our Policies...
Each project or product has its own set of circumstances in development and production all requiring a fair amount of time and energy in determining a viable solution. We will go over those in full detail before any contract is entered between Haw Valley Creative and our client.
All work done by Haw Valley Creative provides value to our clients; therefore we consider the work to be of value in providing solutions,
and deserving of payment. We will not enter into any project that calls for “Spec Work”, or work done as a test ride in measuring
our value.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of a contracted project, ownership of all copyrights and the original artwork
(hard copy and digital) remains with the designer and shall be returned to and retained by Haw Valley Creative.
A cancellation fee
for work completed, based on the payment schedule/hourly rate and expenses already incurred, shall be paid by the client. Confidentiality All
correspondence and documents provided will be treated as confidential between the client and Haw Valley Creative, unless consent has
been granted by both parties involved.
Our policy has always been that we do not work on speculation, which a minimum deposit is due prior to the beginning of
any project. Deposits are determined on a project by project basis and will be specified in detail in all creative service
proposals

General
Ownership of all intellectual property created by Haw Valley Creative remains with the creator unless otherwise negotiated in writing.
Licensing of copyrights for use by the client will be negotiated and determined based on each project's requirements and shall not
be granted until full payment of services has been made by the client.

Payment schedules
Any project having a final cost of up to $500 is payable in advance of any work or scheduling. This does not include consultations which are billed separatley after an initial free consultation. Projects with a final cost of over $500 require a minimum advance payment as specified in the project proposal, with the balance due upon completion of the project or delivery of the final product or at specific milestone achievments outlined within a creative services proposal.

Consultation
Initial on-site consultations with portfolio review and fee schedules are free within 35 miles of our studio.
Active project
phone call consultations are factored into each project as "client support" and free of charge.
Active project consultations
requiring on-site visits will be billed separately at studio rate plus expenses.
